Deposits:
A non-refundable deposit of £40 is payable in advance of a wedding booking in order to secure the services of a Charlotte Laskey makeup artist. Wedding or event dates cannot be held without a deposit. This deposit will be deducted from the final wedding/event price. A non-refundable deposit of £40 is also required in advance for group bookings and lessons.
Payment:
Payment for makeup services must be by cash or bank transfer (on agreement), and can be made in advance or on the day of the makeup trial. A deposit of £40 is taken in advance for all weddings, group bookings and lesson booked. The remaining balance will be due on the wedding/event date by cash or bank transfer.
Cancellations:
Wedding Cancellations made by clients must be made at least 1 month before the wedding date. Please note that deposits are non-refundable.
In the unlikely event that Charlotte Laskey has to cancel an appointment for any reason, then every effort will be made to re-schedule (where possible). If a re-schedule is not possible (for example, wedding makeup) then all monies paid in advance (less trial fee(s), if applicable) will be refunded in full.
Special occasion makeup cancellations within 24 hours will incur a fee. Failure to attend your appointment could result in no future appointments being accepted.
Setup times:
Charlotte will arrive at the client’s home, wedding or event venue at the pre-agreed time, allowing sufficient time to set-up and apply makeup to client(s).
Travelling area and charges:
Charlotte will travel to a client’s home, wedding or event venue on the specified event date. Trials will be held at Jessicas Beauty Boutique, Colne unless agreed otherwise.
All other services will be held at Jessicas Beauty Boutique in Colne unless agreed otherwise.
Vouchers
Vouchers are available in any amount you wish from £15 upwards. Please note, these vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months from the date issued on the front of them. After this period, the voucher will have expired unless a special arrangement is made directly with Charlotte. These gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash. Any vouchers that appear to have been tampered with in any way will not be accepted as payment of services rendered.
Health and Safety
Should any members of the client’s party become abusive, threatening, offensive and/or violent; we reserve the right to terminate the service without a refund.
For reasons of Health and Safety, we ask that clients and their party do not smoke during the makeup trial, make up lesson, or makeup service.
